Where we deliver

We deliver within Australia only.

Dangerous goods can only be delivered to a business address. This is a carrier requirement, not our preference — the transport companies that carry dangerous goods will not deliver them to residential addresses, and they cannot be sent to a PO box, parcel locker or similar. Many of our products fall into this category, and they are identified on the product page.

To purchase these products you will need an approved business account with us. If you do not have one yet, apply online and we will confirm your delivery address before your first order.

We may also be unable to deliver some dangerous goods to remote areas where no compliant carrier operates. If that applies to your address we will contact you before charging you.

Dispatch times

In-stock orders placed before 12:00pm on a business day are dispatched within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders containing a dangerous goods item may take an additional day to dispatch, because they require compliant packing, documentation and a scheduled carrier pickup.

Pre-orders

Some products are offered for pre-order before stock arrives, with an expected availability date shown on the product page. Those dates are estimates provided by our supplier and can change. Where an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, we will contact you to confirm whether to ship in parts or hold the order until it is complete.

Delivery times

Once dispatched, typical transit times are:

Metropolitan NSW / VIC / ACT: 1–2 business days
Other metropolitan areas: 2–4 business days
Regional and remote: 3–7 business days

Dangerous goods generally travel by road rather than air, so transit times to distant states can be longer than for ordinary freight. All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Shipping costs and dangerous goods surcharges

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination, the weight of your order, and whether it contains dangerous goods.

Consignments containing dangerous goods attract a dangerous goods surcharge, which covers compliant UN-approved packaging, segregation, documentation and the specialised carrier. This is charged per consignment and is shown at checkout before you pay.

Large or bulk items, including drums, may require a freight quote rather than a standard rate. If that applies to your order we will contact you with a quote before dispatch.

How dangerous goods are packed and documented

Dangerous goods are packed, labelled, marked and documented in accordance with the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG Code). Consignments travel with the transport documentation the Code requires.

The classification for each product is shown on its product page, along with its Safety Data Sheet. Please make sure someone at the delivery address is able to receive and store the goods safely.

Receiving your delivery

Someone must be available to accept a dangerous goods delivery. Carriers will not leave these consignments unattended, and a failed delivery may incur a redelivery fee.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
